Watch it

“Sons of Anarchy” (10 p.m., FX). Jax and the gang hire a bounty hunter to track down Jimmy, and everyone deals with the aftermath of last week’s shocking funeral shooting/hit-and-run.

“Terriers” (11 p.m., FX). It’s a rerun of last week’s premiere, but if you missed it and are looking for a good show for the fall, check it out. It’s a good mix of breezy humor, smart dialogue and dark mystery.

Record it

“Wipeout” (8 and 9 p.m., ABC). Two hours of splats. Enjoy, I think these are the last episodes until next summer.

“Life Unexpected” (9 p.m., The CW). Season premiere. Cate and Ryan get back from their honeymoon, Baze hooks up with a new bartender, and Lux meets a guy.

“Warehouse 13″ (9 p.m., Syfy). Pete and Myka unearth a previous warehouse in Egypt to find a cure for a mysterious illness.

“Chopped” (10 p.m., Food Network). The champions tournament continues. Tonight’s ingredients: sweetbreads, sea urchin and pickles.

“Parenthood” (10 p.m., NBC). Season premiere. Yeah, it’s kinda a bummer of a show, but it’s really well done. Tonight, Adam hates his new boss (William Baldwin). That’s understandable. if Billy Baldwin was my boss, I’d hate him too.

“Covert Affairs” (9 and 10 p.m., USA). It’s the two-hour season finale, as Annie gets closer to finding out the deal with her ex, Ben the spy.

Catch a score

Giants vs. Dodgers (7 p.m., CSN-BA). The bitterest of rivalries continues.

Skip it

“Flipping Out” (9 p.m., Bravo). I can’t stand Jeff.
